Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ Released In India 12 June 2024

Realme is on the brink of unveiling its Realme 12 Pro series, featuring the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+.

Recent sightings on the BIS certification site suggest an imminent launch in India, with model numbers RMX3842 and RMX3840. Notably, Realme 12 Pro+ has also surfaced on Indonesia's SDPPI certification site.

While specifics from BIS certification are scant, leaks point to the Realme 12 Pro series being equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Noteworthy features include a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto sensor providing 2x optical zoom for the Realme 12 Pro and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens delivering 3x optical zoom for the Realme 12 Pro+.

The anticipated design features a circular camera layout with dual camera sensors and a rectangular periscope lens. Realme 12 Pro is expected to carry a price tag of RMB 2,099 (around Rs 25,000) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB model in China. The series is slated to make its debut in the first quarter of 2024, commencing with a launch event in China before a global rollout, including India.

Worth noting, the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+ debuted in India in June of the previous year, signaling a significant gap before the arrival of the next-gen Realme 12 models. The series is likely to encompass Realme 12 and potentially a Realme 12x.
